Orchard Apple Bircher Muesli

with hedgerow berries

The perfect make-ahead breakfast. We use apples from the orchard and seasonal berries from the kitchen garden.

INGREDIENTS

150g organic oats
100ml apple juice
250ml milk (we use almond milk)
2 apples
Sultanas
Mixed seeds
Seasonal berries

METHOD

STEP 1
Combine the oats, sultanas, milk and apple juice. Cover and leave to soak in the fridge overnight.

STEP 2
Before serving, coarsely grate 2 apples (keep the skin on) and stir into the oats.

STEP 3
Top with seasonal berries, mixed seeds and a drizzle of honey or date syrup.
